Grocery Coupon Guide

The coupon links on these posts seldom work. Last week I tried to get the Goldfish coupon with the link and today the Kellogg’s coupon and the links either go nowhere or the coupons listed are not there. My husband keeps telling me it’s a scam.

If a link isn’t working, that is our fault putting up bad code (apologies on that). If the coupon is no longer there, it is because it has likely reached its print limit and been taken down. These printable coupons go quickly when they pair with sales for good prices. Unfortunately, there is nothing that we can do about that.

Getting online printable coupons is a lot more unreliable than the Sunday paper ones due to this. There will always be hits and misses and that is all part of the game.

I have a Register Rewards Questions/Issue I assume you can help. I went to buy Metamucil this week. I had the coupon from this weeks P&G circular as well as two $2 register rewards from a prior purchase. I wanted to use all three together, but the cashier told me I had to choose between one of the three coupons because they were all manufacturer’s coupons. Is she correct? How could I have done this transaction better?

I don’t shop at Walgreens so I am answering from what I have read (and may need to be corrected). I believe the problem is that Walgreens only accepts one coupon per item – in these situations, most people use “fillers” – small inexpensive items so that you are able to use all the coupons. Because the RR are general coupons good on anything, they can be used if you have two fillers when you made the purchase.

Register Rewards are store coupons; however, Walgreens has a rule that you cann’t have more coupons then things in your cart. So in that case if you also bought 2 other things that did not have coupons she should have rung all 3 coupons.
