## Walgreens has a coupon policy where you must have one item for every coupon that you use. If you have an item where you want to use 2 coupons, you will sometimes need to get a “filler item” (some inexpensive item to fill in for the extra product you need) to make the scenario work. Before going to the cash register, make sure that the number of coupons you have does not exceed the number of items you are purchasing or the transaction will not work. If you are using previous Register Rewards that you have accumulated, each of these also counts as a coupon.

The printable coupon for the G2 pens wasn’t available for me. I don’t know if that’s because it’s only for a specific zip code or what. Also, for me the link redirects to http://print.coupons.com/couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=14505&zid=py13&nid=10&bid=alk0718090736cdc30b79216713

@Alex

Sorry about that – the wrong link was inserted. I have changed it. The correct link is: http://www.notjustapen.com/

I have signed up for the Pilot pen coupons before, using two different emails, and both places I get gobbledy goop emails from them. I’ve emailed their customer service, but no reply.

@LB
I tried it yesterday and today on two different e-mail addresses and received both coupons no problem. You may want to give it another try maybe it was a temporary problem with the site.

I just tried the pens deal at Walgreens and was not allowed to use both the WAG booklet coupon and the printed coupon. The printed coupon does in fact say “may not be combined with other coupon offers” and the booklet coupon says “not valid with any other offer”. Does that refer to not allowing mfg coupons with store coupons, meaning they were correct in not allowing me to use both, or should I have been able to get the deal?

Thanks so much, you guys are awesome.

I am far from an expert on Walgreens since I do not shop there. I do know that some people have a lot of problems with Walgreens and coupons while others have no problem at all. Someone that uses Walgreens on a more regular basis should be able to answer this more clearly. I looked at the coupons and it seems to be a gray area dependant on interpretation as to whether the Walgreen’s coupon is a Walgreens coupon or a manufacturer coupon. The fact that it is distributed by Walgreens and is only good at Walgreens indicates it is a Walgreens store coupon, but the fine print says that it is a manufacturer’s coupon good at Walgreens.

My view is that it is a Walgreens coupon and both should have been able to be used, but again, I don’t use Walgreens enough to be confident in that opinion.

When I checked Walgreens, there were all sorts of Dr. Scholls For Her items that could be purchased to receive RR’s but the hidden arch item was not listed as one of these. Is this a local deal or perhaps they just didn’t list on the item tag that it was included? I didn’t risk trying to buy it, in any case.
