Might not be sugar withdrawal but a psychological yearning for foods you miss. You're getting plenty of sugar on this diet between the bananas and cornflakes. Too, sugar withdrawal is actuaslly carb withdrawal and carbs are not in short supply on this diet. Don't forget, every carb is turned into sugar once you eat it.

For sugar cravings, a jar of honey goes a long way. Yes, it would be a pricey chunk of your budget, but it would easily last the whole month and possibly beyond. Plus, natural honey is healthier than refined, processed sweets. Furthermore, if you know any area farmers or urban homesteaders who have apiaries, you could get fresh honey at a reduced price and support your local economy.

well you said if I had any suggestions.A croc pot would make this easy..what about a soup using: salsa, & pork n beans and add some cut up carrots & little of your left over rice. Simmered the pork n beans (I would mash) & salsa (this would have onions & bell pepper in it) should form a tomatoey (is that a word?) base. The carrots & rice will add a little body. Serve w/some wheat thins or sprinkle a little toasted corn flakes on top (for crunch).
----------------------------
To help stretch your apple you could cover your apple slices w/a thin layer of peanut butter and roll in some crushed cornflakes (since you have plenty) for a snack.
---------------------------
boil an egg. 1/2 the boiled egg. remove the yolk and mash with a little salsa, a few black beans, avocado, 1 or 2 crushed wheat thin. This will make an improvised deviled egg.
-----------------------------
I just was thinking that there had to be more than a burrito every meal.
