I was just curious about one thing. When you say that you never see stores that offer double coupons are you including grocery stores? The stores that I shop at by me are Pathmark, ShopRite and Stop and Shop. All 3 of those stores offer double coupons if under.99 cents. I’m not sure if they offer it every week, but they do offer it. It’s usually right in the front of the circular or hidden in the back.
So when I buy an item thats on sale and give them a coupon .99 cents or under and it happens to be double coupon week then I’m actually triple saving. Sometimes they even offer triple coupons.
What I hate though is when I buy something that’s on sale and them in next weeks circular they have a better offer. For example, this week I bought a 4 lb. party pack of Kozy Shack Rice Pudding for $6.99. I did some calculations of what the single serving packs and the 22 oz. packs usually cost and this was a good deal.
When I looked in the circular for this week, they have Kozy Shack 22 oz @ 2.09 (1/2 price). If I bought 3, that’s 66 oz. @ 6.27. I would be getting 2 extra ounces for .72 cents less.
If you haven’t noticed, I’m an overly detailed person, to put it nicely.
