Is there a site that lists what catalina are available at the store? How do you find this information out? I am on the east coast and have different supermarkets than you. Thanks

@ Nors
What state are you in? Or what stores are nearest?

I’m in NY, stores are Pricechopper and Hannaford. Thanks.

@Nors
Try this site http://www.afullcup.com/forums/index.php scroll all the way down to grocery stores and they do list both Pricechopper and Hannaford. You can also view the weekly ad online for both stores (links are below) before you shop and match up any coupons you may have on hand and print store coupons. Hope this helps :)

When are these catalinas active? Today I tried to buy 5 Cool Whips, 5 Kraft cheeses, and 5 Oscar Meyer dogs and I didn’t get any catalinas… I had to return everything and ask for my coupons back… (btw: the Cool Whip was only $0.88 each which would have made the deal a $1.10 money maker if I got my catalina!)

Ok, so here’s my question. It appears by reading the sales flyer that the $5/5 catalina has some restrictions on it and I’m not sure how that will affect how I buy. I have several of the $5/5 Kraft coupons and the $1/1 and $1/2 hot dog coupons. My Albertson’s also typically has doubler coupons that come out on Sunday (though since this week is a holiday I’m not sure if they’ll have them). Sooo, potentially I have the makings of some good moneymakers. (i.e. the 5 hot dogs will be a $2.50 MM w/o doublers and a $7.50 MM w/ doublers) The cheese will be a $1 MM as they only double up to $1. My original plan was to do 2-3 transactions, get a couple of catalinas in each transaction to apply to the next one. And then fill in the deficit from the MMs with my actual groceries!. However, it definitely looks as though only one catalina will print with each transaction. So then I was going to do each group of 5 as separate transactions and roll the catalina over each time. But THEN I saw the print that says “Additional coupon offer will not print when the coupon is redeemed in the same transaction”. So does that mean that if I buy 5 cheese and I pay using a previous catalina that a new catalina will not print for my 5 cheese? If that’s true, I will have to ante up the money for ALL my $5/5 catalina transactions up front and then end up with a bunch of catalinas that I have to use w/in the next 2 weeks either on groceries (which I’m pretty stocked on) or different deals (that may or may not come up). This would suck because the best value is in rolling the catalinas and coming out with the instant free product/moneymakers to buy things with the overages, not pay like $30+ up front. Does anyone know how this works? If not I guess I’ll just test it with one of the really good deals so that if it doesn’t work I don’t lose out too much, just the one $5 catalina.

@ Mark
The catalinas are active until Sept 9th. I am not sure what went wrong, I did the same transactions several times this week and received all my catalina with no trouble. At my albertsons these deals were posted so the cheese, hot dogs, cool whip all had signs posted stating that if you buy 5 you will receive a $5 catalina coupon. You may want to talk to costumer service next time or contact Catalina Marketing (877) 210-1917 if you ever have trouble getting a catalina that you should have received. Sometimes the cashiers machine could be out of paper, ink etc.

@ Lissa
I bought 20 packs of cheese, 10 packs of hot dogs and 5 cool whips. I split them all up in groups of 5 and luckily there was nobody in line behind me! I had no problem receiving all my catalinas and rolling them over to the next transaction. I would suggest you try only a few at a time to make sure it works the same for you, but you shouldn’t have any problems.

FYI these coupons have been reloaded!!!!

I was so excited to see that these got reloaded!! I used mine last week at GIANT and got 10 pkgs of cheese for free!!
