Someone recently asked me, “can you buy stamps at the grocery store?” To be honest, I had never thought about this before. My work requires a trip to the post office every week, so I just buy stamps when I’m there.
Plus, there are a ton of options online for buying postage. As a result, I’m not sure I ever considered the different places where you can buy stamps.
However, it’s worth considering. One of the keys to a balanced life is to minimize your errands. If you don’t need to go to the post office, then you should look for other places to buy stamps. After all, why make an extra stop at the post office if you don’t need to.
Unless you get all of your groceries delivered, you probably go to the grocery store. Therefore, it does make sense to ask, “can you buy stamps at the grocery store?” If you can, then get them there to save yourself a trip elsewhere, right?

If you need to stop at a convenience store or grocery store anyway, then you might as well get a book of stamps while you’re there. CVS, Walgreens, and some 7-11 Stores will sell stamps.

I get a lot of my food delivered fresh from local farmers. Of course, they aren’t going to sell me stamps. However, I also shop at some of my local stores as well. I was surprised to discover some of them also sell stamps. This will vary widely from place to place. Therefore, you’ll have to check with your own local store to find out if they sell stamps near you.
