However, if you’re a smart couponer, then you need to go a step further. Different coupons are released on different Sundays of the month all throughout the year. For example, P&G inserts only come out once or twice per month. On the other hand, SmartSource and Retail Me Not Sunday coupon inserts are available most weeks of the year.
How to Make the Most of Sunday Coupon Inserts
If you know the Sunday insert coupon schedule, then you are better prepared to plan all of your shopping accordingly. Additionally, you can get a good sense of when to buy coupon inserts and other clipped coupons. For example, if you’re one of the people who gets the most bang for your buck with P&G inserts, then you can start planning ahead for the weeks when those are available, making sure to get your coupons ordered via mail in advance.
Of equal importance, you want to mark down the weeks when there won’t be any coupon inserts. Sunday coupon inserts are almost never released during holiday weekends. Therefore, you’ll want to use extra grocery coupons for a week or two ahead of holidays to stock up on groceries at a lower price. You don’t want to be caught shopping on a holiday when you don’t have coupons. After all, smart shoppers don’t ever spend more than they have to.

Get out your calendar and make sure that all of the following dates are on it. We’ve skipped January and February’s inserts since those weeks have already passed. Beginning with March 2019, look for these Sunday coupon inserts:

March 3rd, 2019 – 2 SmartSource coupon inserts and 1 each from Retail Me Not and P&G
March 10th, 2019 – 1 coupon insert each from RetailMeNot and SmartSource
March 17th, 2019 – 2 Retail Me Not coupon inserts and 1 from SmartSource
March 24th, 2019 – 1 SmartSource coupon insert
March 31st, 2019 – 2 Retail Me Not coupon inserts and 1 each from SmartSource and P&G
In summary, every Sunday in March has at least one SmartSource coupon insert. Furthermore, every Sunday except the 24th has at least one coupon insert from Retail Me Not. Plus you can get P&G Sunday coupon inserts on the first and last weekend of this month.

In summary, there are four weekends in April, but the third weekend doesn’t have any inserts because of the Easter holiday. There will be RetailMeNot and SmartSource coupons on each of the other weekends. Furthermore, the second and fourth weekends have an additional Retail Me Not insert. Finally, the last Sunday of the month also has the P&G insert.
May 2019 Sunday Coupon Inserts

Similar to April, there are four weekends in May, but one of those is a holiday for Memorial Day so there are only three weekends that have Sunday coupon inserts. There are no P&G inserts this month. The first two weekends of the month will each have 2 Retail Me Not coupon inserts and 1 from SmartSource. The third weekend will have one insert from each of those resources.
June 2019 Sunday Coupon Inserts

June is a great month for grocery coupons this year. There are five Sundays during this month, with no holiday weekends. There are four weekends in August with no holidays. This is one of the most regular schedules, with 2 Retail Me Not coupon inserts on the first and last weekend of the month and 1 on each of the middle weekends. There is one SmartSource coupon insert each weekend. Plus the last weekend of the month is the release for the P&G insert.
September 2019 Sunday Coupon Inserts

Plus the last weekend of the month is the release for the P&G insert.

December 8th, 2019 – 1 coupon insert each from RetailMeNot and SmartSource; these are their last Sunday coupon inserts for 2019

December 29th, 2019 – Even though it’s the New Year, P&G will release its monthly coupon insert, wrapping up 2019 with savings
Try to stock up on groceries before December because there aren’t too many coupon inserts this month. There will be only one each from Retail Me Not and Smart Source during the first two weeks of the year. There will be none at all on the 15th and 22nd. Then the year closes with one Sunday coupon insert from P&G on the last weekend of 2019.
